Another scam call from "Microsoft Windows" about downloaded virus'. They are NEVER American voices, this one again sounded Indian. I too am on the DNC list, have been for years.
Most of the time I don't answer. Sometimes I feel like having fun with these jerks. When they call about windows problems I tell them I wouldn't know because I have an Macintosh. Then I go into a tirade ending with why don't you go and f..k yourself before I hang up. Great self satisfaction.
Another "Windows Tech Support" Scam. Told the guy on the other end he should be ashamed of himself for scamming people and asked if his mother is proud of him or knows what he does for a living.
They're middle eastern, I've heard these guys before too. Idiots forgot that Windows is an OPERATING SYSTEM FOR A COMPUTER, and not a company. MICROSOFT is the company for windows. Keep track of all those callers and the time/date/number in a big old text file on your computer, then report them all to the FTC, and if it's the name of a real business when googling the number report to the BBB!
This number is now claiming to be the IRS filing suit against you. The IRS never calls you regarding lawsuit-they send MANY letters. Working in the tax prep industry 20 yrs.
They call but don't leave a message. I block all numbers that call but don't leave a message. I could not block this number because stated this number is not valid. I called this number got a recording stating "this number can't not be called check your number and call again". Telephone number not valid.

I called Citibank's other number and confirmed this was their Consumer Support number. It is legitimate. Processed the information they needed to verify my account. I originally thought it was fraud but it is real.

We receive calls at our place of business from these people every day and they claim to be with Spectrum. It sounds like a call center in India; noisy background noise and each person who calls has a strong accent.
