I have gotten several calls from this same phone number on MY CELL PHONE! I have a house number so this is not my cell is not my only, or primary, contact number. I'm not a big cell phone user and I never answer numbers on either of my phones if I don't recognize the number on the caller ID. They will not leave a message either. They seem to enjoy harassing people. I'm in Texas. I have no bills or tickets or anything like that. You may be right. It might be a scam. But how do we make them stop? I called the number back the last time and it does say "Municipal Services Bureau". So I don't know why they are bothering me!! Is there a way to make it stop??

Got my cell number 2 weeks ago. They have called me 4 times. Spoke with then 2 times. Advised them that this a new number and I am not the person they are looking for. They started giving me attitude and reminded me they were recording this call. Told them I hope they are so they could play it back as a reminder that they need to remove this number from their calling list. They continue to call but never leave a message. They also refused to identify themselves when asked who they were. Kept saying they wanted to speak to a person I did not know.

Its not a scam I received a call from them this morning and it really was a debt collector I owed for a water bill from an old address I had. It was all legit. Maybe you should answer or call them back and find out who is trying to get money from you.

Nobody is spamming you so call them before you report them to anyone you just might find that you will look silly.

They're a totally legit company, y'all. They called today and I didn't pick up since I didn't recognize the number. I googled said number and got this page. I decided to call them back anyway and I found out they were trying to collect a past due City of Austin (utilities) bill from me. They didn't ask for any personal information, except the number I was calling from, for identification. Then I got all the info I needed from them and was able to set up a payment plan to pay off my debt. Easy. Now I feel dumb for thinking someone was trying to scam me. Do a little research before you react.

I just ignore them, its a prepaid cell phone with a used number..

They call me 2 or 3 times per day on my cell and never leave a message. I did some research as well and I believe they also collect for the tolls here in Austin. In either case I have no outstanding tolls/utility bills/ traffic tickets. If they wont leave a message, I wont return the call. Simple as that!
