I am getting phone calls saying I got a ticket on Dec 30th in a place I've never heard of but they can't tell me the make or model of the car only the license number I want it to stop it wasn't me I wasn't there I was at work.

We've gotten a call from this place 5 times this week, but only today they started leaving messages so I knew who they were - they called from: 800-866-9436. They said they are Municipal Services Bureau calling on a debt collection for my husband - but we have no bills in collections or outstanding tickets. That's when I ran across this section about MSB. He's going to call when he gets home - will post update on what they say/do. My first thought was: scam. Because I also started getting calls on my cell that sounded exactly like this - but for someone else - there didn't seem to be a way to stop those calls so I blocked them (thank you Goggle Voice!).

GC (Gila Corp.) is going down. They are scamming the elderly, and many others out of money. They are basically preying on peoples fear of collection agencies. Thousands of people have actually paid money that they do not even owe due to outright fear.MANY lawyers are beginning to work on this & in the lawyer eye, they see a gold-mine. I've even hear that there are feds involved with either busting, or covering up this awful company.Also, there will soon be a documentary on this company & how horrible they truly are, not to mention the government involvement...Get ready for the slamming of the alkalies heel of this awful company, as some huge numbers are about to come up in the form of a WRITTEN petition. After that this petition will go online & depending on how the government cooperates, at LEAST a dozen of these people will be going to jail.Thank You & GoodNight.Sorry for the selfish goodbye as me & ALOT of people have done tons of work to get these gears turning. these people have started to call me since I got a new land line. an english woman leaves a message that says someone in your house may have a court date, etc. I have no court date. will you please tell them to stop harrassing me

This number calls several times a day asking for what I assume is the last person who had this number. The problem is, I've had this number for almost four years. I called it back and the recording says "municipal collections".

Got a call on the car phone from these people. They said if "I" was not Jane Doe to call them back at another number and immediately hang up from this call. They then repeated that only Jane Doe could listen to the message. The message left was something sounding very spooky about collecting a debt and that no one except Jane Doe could listen to the message. It instructed Jane Doe to call another number. The car and the phone here belong to an entity. Any user is likely to answer the phone if they are parked or stopped in the car. Consequently there is no real definitive "I" here. Jane Doe does not work for this entity nor is she a beneficary of it. I haven't checked the law firms' staffs to see if Jane Doe works for any of them but I doubt it. We have no connection to Austin TX except the head mucky-muck used to live there in 2005. She is not connected to this phone nor is she named Jane Doe.The entity organizing document prohibits debt so we pay everything in advance (utilities) and pay cash for all purchases.

I called them back and told them they were a bunch of fruity [***].

USE YOUR CALL BLOCK. AFTER A WHILE THEY WILL USE ANOTHER NUMBER, BLOCK THAT ONE TOO. Annoying. WAS ABOUT 5 TIMES A DAY.

I have received so many calls from foreign speaking individuals and calls that when I answer I lose connection til I am feed up. I have changed my number because of the harassment and they still contact the new number. This is ridiculous. It has been going on for over two months. I don't owe anybody for a utility bill nor a traffic ticket. The call came from Austin, TX per my caller ID. I will just add this number to the 20+ numbers I have already blocked from my phone. Sooner or later they will get the hint not to call.
