I have no debt what so ever, every thing we have is pretty much paid for, yet I received a call from this company to collect a debt, besides we don't even live near Texas at all.

This is a collection agency and it is legit. I get calls from them generally once a week. In my case, they have been contracted by the State Tax Commission of Oklahoma to collect unpaid back income taxes which I do owe the state (about $6,500). I used to get their messages on my answering machine. It's a recording stating their purpose with a return 800 number to call. Needless to say, I haven't return their call. Early this year, I received a notice in the mail from them similar to an invoice for the back taxes. So I sent them a money order instead of a check (this way they don't get my bank account info) with the return form for $100. Nothing else from them has arrived in the mail since then. All I get are the phone calls. Thanks to Caller ID, I don't feel the need to have the machine "on" much these days. If anyone calls while I'm out, I see who it was when I get home and call them back. Unfortunately for MSB, we will never have voice communication. If they want to have contact with me, they can send me something via the US Mail and I will respond to them that way.

maybe not,,, maybe people wouldn't want others to know that they have unpaid tickets,,, sounds like they mite be protecting privacy rights,,, what a novel idea
