I have started getting calls from this number, as much as 5 calls a day. So I researched the number and found this site. Thank you very much, I believe that I can block this number. They say they are a collection agency, but when they leave a message, they don't say who they are asking for...SCAM!
I've had several calls from this number. Must be a scam if it's for traffic tickets, as I don't even have a car and haven't driven for 10 years! Someone also mentioned student loans. I don't have any of those either. I don't bother answering my phone anymore due to scams and telemarketers. If it's someone I want to talk to I call back!
If you owe somebody some money (Like I do.), it's not a scam. If any scam is involved, it is when you owe money and don't pay.I had an ambulance ride. I've not gotten around to calling to discuss the fact that ride was like the proverbial taxi ride from the airport to a hotel one mile away, yet the ride "somehow" is five miles long.I know part of the time, they were deliberately going the wrong way. They claimed it was smoother. Wasn't smoother; just longer. Not only did they go out of the way, they either got kinda lost, or they added a ridiculous segment to the ride. They got on a tollway which, from where they did, made the trip at least three times as long. You have to drive past the hospital several miles before you can get off, then of course, turn around and drive back the same distance on surface streets -- about the distance on surface streets that was left, when they got on the tollway! I'm sorry this has nothing to do with the call, but that still irritates me.It's a legitimate call. The number they use never rings. It's eVoice; they MUST leave a message, or I never know they called. The message is delivered by e-mail. When I open the e-mail and see the call is from them, I just delete it. Not quite like blocking it (Which I would have done long ago, if they were calling my cell phone number, which I never give out.) but very effective at keeping them from disturbing even a moment of my day. When I get around to discussing the wild ride with the ambulance people, I'll pay the bill. The money is sitting in the bank, earmarked for that purpose. The calls won't hasten the "when" that I get around to it.
Started getting these calls on my cell phone about a month ago. However, I never answer them. I appreciate the previous post however It's hard to believe that it's a scam that has been able to continue for such a long time. Today is 11-27-2013 and the previous post are dated all the way back to 2008 and then they stopped in 2009. You would think that the authorities would have apprehended them by now. I guess they've recently been released and are back at it again. I'm going to nick name them the "Serial Kallers".
Saw I had a missed call from this number so of course I googled it thank goodness I have an iPhone5 and can immediately block the number directly from my call log. Had they called on my home ph I have selective called rejection and can add them to the list pronto. No harassing calls for me. One call and they are done. Century Link as my landline phone carrier has many services that you can get that will definitely eliminate the unwanted calls. To read about how people have received calls for months is just crazy to me. Update your phone services. To get instant relief from those annoying calls. Have a good day.
This people continue to call . Robocall asking for a person not related. Going to reported it's been over 25 calls
For month I receive calls from this number Sometime twice a day. I don't owe no money to no one. I spoke to them once and told them not to call here anymore.
