Missed calls from this number to my cellphone multiple times, but I know who they are. Tired of telling them I'm turning them in to the proper authorities. I'm an IT engineer with 30+ years of experience. Next time they call, I'm going to let them play with a nice little gem of an isolated laptop I've created just for them! I can tell you that they'll be very sorry they ever tried to screw over some elderly couple and steal their identity. Rot in hell, [***] at "Windows Support"!

This band of scum have been doing this for years. I don't buy the excuse, "We can't do anything about it because we can't find them." Total BS. Of course it would take cooperation between the U.S. and India to track these vermin down but officials could care less.

516 is a Nassau County area code, caller ID shows Selden NY, that is in Suffolk county, just block the number

Called to say he was from Microsoft and they received a notice that I had a problem. Calls repeatedly even though I keep telling him I don't even own a PC, all Mac in my house. Total scam operation. Someone needs to call the New York State Attorney General. Maybe even Microsoft and their new "cybercrime" division. I received a very similar call from an outfit called teamviewer.com. Maybe they are related or both using the same scam.

Multiple calls daily, no one at the other end. Not answering has not been an option as I do receive legitimate calls from that area of the US. Helpful to know that it's these faux Microsoft clowns. I'll ignore them in future.

Next time, tell them you don't have phone. It's worth a try.
