I too am getting the same calls. Blocked the number and now he calls on 585 636 4085 area code 516 is Nassau County Long Island 585 is Rochester NY the other end of the state. I called my provider and they advised me to file a fraud complaint at www.ic3.gov/default.aspx. This is the FBI Fraud site. I did that and received a complaint ID number already
Just got a call from this guy with an accent saying something about Microsoft. I told him twice that I don't have Microsoft twice and then told him he has the wrong number. He ask if this is my name and I said yes but I don't have Microsoft and he hung up.
Multiple phone calls and have already told them I was not interested but they insist on gaining access to my IP address and computer.
Male with Indian accent called saying he has been trying to contact me for 'weeks' regarding issues with my computer. LOL.... i only got my PC 3 days ago. When I asked for his name & the name of his company he became defensive and started talking over me. I simply hung up. Then this jerk has the nerve to call me back & asked me why I was being rude to him & that he was going to 'shut down my computer'.... yeah, ok buddy!
I have dozens of calls from this number. Same thing. You call back and get that the number is not working. Who do we report fraud to?
*Indian Accent*...He's trying to scam you out because he doesn't know any better to get a "real" job. Let alone this person is using a disposable number to shoot his mouth out.
This number has been calling every day. An obvious scam call trying to get access to your information.
Keeps calling every few days. I asked them to stop. Claim they are from Microsoft calling about my computer. When I told them to stop their crap the guy got nasty to me in some Hindi dialect. Clearly the caller is from India although he gave some American sounding name like Mike or something
