they claim to work for Micro soft but do not. I have received many calls . Asked them to take me of there list .I think they are from PC fix and get info from best buy.
this number has called my home phone 3 times today. I answered the the 3rd time and they claimed to be from microsoft i told them to stop calling and hung up
This number has called twice. We do not answer 800 calls but it is annoying to be getting these calls.
These guys have called dozens of times. Last time the indian guy called, I told him that I was really happy he had called because I was having issues with my computer. Told him I was on another line and to hold and I would come back. Put him on mute and came back three times to tell him just another minute. Kept him on the line for about 5 minutes before he hung up. LMFAO!!
This number calls AT LEAST 4 times per day/nite. I do not answer and they always leave a hangup message. This whole situation is getting worse with all kinds of numbers. I always report but it hasn't stopped..I'm talking about years now! Noticed a comment that mentions *blocking*..I didn't know that could be done, will try. Thank you for posting the *60 info..sorry I can't remember your name.
Have received at least 4 of these calls from Hicksville, NY, 516-800-0000. I have never played along and told caller I do not believe him. Tonight. I said, "do you know you have called here 5 times?" He hung up.
I believe this person that just called my mother's home phone [around 3:15 p.m EST today] is the same person that called and spoke with my father within the past week or more while I was in their presence. A guy claims to be from Microsoft and needs to have us go to our computer so "they can help us with our technical [computer] problem!" We don't have any computer issues and by using the name 'Microsoft' they are wanting to look official... and we should comply, I guess! I took the phone and told them that if they kept on calling, I would report them to the FTC... and then hung up. The number is apparently from New York / Long Island area. Years ago, it was a woman from the same area calling, with the same or similar story.
