Constantly get calls from this number. Heavy accent. He told me he was from Microsoft and that I have a problem with one of my drives. Told me to go to my computer and they will fix it. I told him I'm not going anywhere and to stop calling me. I am notifying the FTC and Microsoft.

They do not stop calling. Today I have recieved 3 calls and it is only 10am. My husband has spoken with them asking very detail questions about how they know what could be wrong with our computers, my husband also asked them for our IP address.....of course they could not help.Another time the caller did not want to speak to my husband and told him to "get lost".This time when they called I told the caller that I did not own a computer...LOLHe said he would remove me from the list...lets see if that worked.

have recvd calls from 516-800-0000 (hicksville, ny) pretty much daily (and nightly) from this number. I do not answer and they hang up when they get my answering machine.

In the past week, I have received 14 calls from this number (516-800-0000). They tried to tell me they were from Microsoft which I ignored. I explained I was on the DO NOT CALL List, but they have called at least six times since then. The caller has a heavy accent and does not realize he is calling the same number. They do not leave messages on my answering machine

I HAVE RECEIVED NO LESS THAN 35 CALLS FROM THIS NUMBER IN THE PAST 2 WEEKS. WHEN I ANSWER THEY DON'T SPEAK BUT CAN HEAR VOICES AND NOISE IN THE BACK GROUND. REDIALED THE NUMBER AND JUST GOT THE SAME NOISE. NO ONE ACTUALLY ANSWERED BUT WE TOLD THEM TO STOP CALLING THIS NUMBER. LATELY I HAVE JUST BEEN MUTING PHONE WHEN THAT NUMBER COMES UP.

The first time they called A man told me I reported a problem with microsoft. When I told him I don't have any microsoft products, he hung up on me. The next time A man called with a heavy accent,asking if i was the primary user of my computer . When I told him I was, he said, it was reported that my microsoft hard drive was running slow? ( or something of that nature, I honestly couldn't understand him ). He wanted me to access my computer and read him some information off it…When I wouldn't give him any information he then asked me for my wife ( using her correct name ) When I told him not to call again he told me he could call any time because he had my number.

I am on the do not call list. They started calling a week ago, have called almost every day, 3+ times a day. I normally do not answer unknown callers, but they fill up my answering machine with "hello? Hello?" and there are voices in the background. I actually answered once, and they hung up. Get rid of these guys!!!

Call the Federal Trade Commission at 800-769-4099 or go their website at www.ftc.gov . They are investigating these people. If more people report their illegal actions, the quicker they are prevented from calling the US.

I noticed this phone number had called 4 times yesterday. So on the 5th time I was anxious to see who it was since they were being so desperate in their attempt. It was a guy with a very heavy foreign accent. The first thing that he said was that he was calling "on behalf of Microsoft" regarding all the issues that have been reported about my server. I had had one of these scammers try this same thing about a year or two ago, so this guy walked right into the web. I ripped into him about being a scammer, rip-off artist, etc., told him to get a life and get a real job besides trying to steal from people. It was funny listening to him back pedaling and trying to defend himself. Caller came up as "Hicksville NY".
