Tired of this stupid calls but i never answer to unknowm weird numbers. I'am from Montreal,qc canada and there's a bunch of calls everyday to my residence line and cell phone. This is like an infected vice

How odd! I just received a call from this number but didn't answer. I looked it up & found an incredibly large amount of complaints but the number is registered to a NANCY Higgins in Virginia. From what I've read here I'm really glad I didn't answer the phone! Wow! The nerve of some people!!! He/she should face criminal charges for harassment.

Why in the world would you put your own phone number on this site? This is a place to share our experiences with unwanted calls. I'm pretty sure the Better Business Bureau or FCC would be the only agencies with the capability of actually stopping this caller. Please be more careful with your phone number and personal information in the future.

Area code is NW Virginia. Recorded announcement by female with no accent that repeated three times before disconnecting. (I put it on speaker phone figuring I might as well tie-up their line as long as possible.) Offered to consolidate my outstanding credit card debt (nil) at a lower rate.Under Canada's Telemarketing rules, automatic dialing and announcing devices "cannot be used to sell or promote a product or service unless a consumer has consented to be called by them." I don't know whether there is an exemption if one has the option to connect to a real person (as in this case). But the rules also state that all telemarketers "must identify who they are...", which this recording did not do.I sometimes take calls and ask the telemarketer "Why would I want to do business with a firm that initiates our relationship by committing a felony?"

She said she would ruin me financially. "Sure you will"Reported the call to the quebec Rcmp wich confirmed with me it's an ongoing investigation.Also reported to Fbi Dohs Fcc ftc. I will be forwarding the recordings of these calls to Rcmp as requested. I encourage any canadian to report these miscreants. You messed with the wrong lawyer.

Yup got one too (Dec 17). I've had a huge influx of calls to both land and cell lines this past month. Just did the CRTC's DNCL registration as well as Canadian Marketing Association. Unfortunately, nothing handles out of country calls. Got to wonder what we are paying Ma Bell or whomever for services.
