Have two missed calls from this number within seconds of each other on my work line. The Caller ID says "Nancy Higgins" - 540-463-3816. No voicemail.

They won't stop calling me, @offendedwoman I would have hurt him too! And yeah I tried to call back to see who it was but it says the number was cut off or something like that. And they call me NON STOP and RAWR I want to hurt them!

VOIP call, spoofed caller ID, obviously a boiler room operation overseas. Their only "list" of numbers is usually just robocalling every possible number in an area code.

Automated system said they can lower my interest rate to 6% so I wanted to know which company it was from. Gentleman gets on and I ask what credit card is this for, he said Visa Mastercard Discover. I asked the same question again to find out what company he was calling from and the fer had the nerve to hang up. Wasted my time and was a stupid scam. Be careful everyone and always be cautious

Recorded message from Heather from Account Services to inquire about my credit card account. Didn't hear the rest - I hung up. Pretty obviously a scam operation.Sadly, the only reason they try this is because sometimes they fool someone and take their money.

Although 800notes.com says this number's a landline in Virginia, the call I answered was from a boilerroom, probably in India or Pakistan, although the male caller, who offered to lower my credit card rates, said he was from Dulles Taxes(this area code applies to the Dulles Airport area of northern VIrginia and the caller id said "Virginia call") . When I asked him to repeat it several times and eventually spell it out, he had problems with vowels but eventually spelled out Dallas, Texas, United States. When told him this number was on the do not call list, he said he couldn't do anything about numbers that came from the computer, then eventually promised to remove this number. Frankly, the guy sounded like last Wednesday's caller whose caller ID said "bp independent" and told me my dad had won a free medical examination because he was really from a doctor's office. And the NY/NJ accented woman from prime time windows below also said she could not remove my name from their call list because it came from the computer.For what it's worth, my elderly dad was the victim of female scammers several years ago, and the straw buyer (whose wife at least is South Asian) of the bank fraud house next door (which is being demolished today) bragged about knowing the "real story" of that particular fraud on my dad. He and others associated with that house (many born in the USA) also bragged about government corruption, at least at the local level in Illinois, where the recipient line is physically located. Frankly, many of the scam calls also seem associated with a computer telemarketing guru or fraudster named Paul Maduno, about whom I've posted several times recently. Recorded message said it was regarding one of my credit card accounts and this was my last offer to lower my interest rate... since I'm in an ongoing battle with First Financial Bank.. I pressed one to see if it was those scumbags. Indian-accented man answered and asked how I was. I politely asked which one of my accounts this was concerning... then he hung up. There's just too many numbers to block!!!! =(

The person that is calling from this number just cussed me out & it's a good thing you cant reach out and touch someone through a phone, because I would of knocked his teeth out for disrespecting me and telling me F*** You MotherF****.......and for calling me a liar......were is our Homeland Security for people like this.....this call should of never went through!!
