I have been getting a call on my cell phone every three days for the last three weeks between 7:30 and 8:00 pm. I have not answered it since I do not know the caller. They go to voice mail, but all I get is a hang-up click. Obviously it is some kind of sales call and I am listed on their auto-dialer. How do you get off the list?

That is very untrue. If you ask to be placed on the do not call list they will place you there. They do not give your number to anyone else. I worked there as a caller. Comnet receives your number from an organization that you have or had a membership with or a non profit organization you donated to and provided a contact number for.

I didn't answer either as I didn't recognize the number. Great to "google" it and find out that I definitely do not want to take that call.

Got a call from this number at 11 am. No message left. I called back and got a recorded message that just said to "leave a message after tone." No identifying info was given. Registered at the link Amy provided to be removed from call list. Will see what happens.

called my govt work phone at 12:37pm today. No message

Today I got a call from them and it was the Association for Computing Machinery asking if I wanted to renew my membership. My guess is that this # is for a call center which makes outgoing calls on behalf of many different businesses.

Wrong business.....not comnet consulting. Comnet Marketing Group all completely wrong information

This is Fraud never answer the call. I gave my address & email ..I didn't get anything yet but beware may be they will theft your identity..be very cautious...They called me to renew my ASME membership , I don't know how they got this information.FRAUD..

Ridiculous. I have a relative in the hospital and business calls I am expecting, so I must answer the phone whenever it rings. Every time my phone rings I have to DROP WHAT I'M DOING and answer -- and every day I get one call from this [expletive] 541-864-1492 number and no one is ever at the other end of the line after I rush for the phone and say "Hello." It is really playing on my nerves to get these calls every day and I think it is terribly wrong for the people behind this to have created such a nuisance. I am sick of these interruptions! Also, when I call the above number back I get a recording AND the number HAS NOT responded to my online request to cease calling. I'm reading the manual that came with my phone to see if there is any way I can filter these calls.

Thank you for posting the information on removing your name from their list. We have been receiving calls for weeks, and they never leave a message.
