Just got back from Iraq, and reactivated my phone --- hoping to hear from friends/family I haven't been able to talk to for the last year. Instead, the first call I get is from this number .. and it WON'T STOP CALLING. Does not leave a message, and has the same "non-profit" line when I call the ## (from another phone).I have never been a member of any Zoo ... and my non-profit organizations always leave a message. How do we get this ## to STOP CALLING our cell phones???
This number called my cell phone on 2/09/2010 at 6:43 pm. Left no message. I joined the Sacramento Zoo association last year and my membership expired a few months ago, so it might be that as a connection.
Contact your carrier, and request a block on calls coming from that particular number. They can walk you through it. Make sure you have a text message block placed as well.
I received a call with no message from this number...I recently donated to the WWF and Heifer.org...must be from them.
I've received several calls from this number, but they never leave a message and I don't pick up when they call.
I have been getting calls from this number for several days now and I have never answered it nor do they leave a message. I saw one post here about them having received numbers from non-profit organizations with which we may be associated with but I am not associated with any of them. Smells like a scam to me.
I've been getting a call from them every few days for two weeks now! Generally, I don't answer if I don't recognize the caller's #. But after two weeks, I answered a call in the middle of dinner. I could hear a woman clear her throat, with noise in the background--- but she didn't answer my "hello?" Nope, I was simply hung up on.I had presumed that it was a recruiter, as that I had just made my resume public on monster.com. But no recruiter hangs up on you, after attempting to reach you a dozen times (and never leaving a message!). The ACHE comments are curious to me, as that I have other healthcare memberships (HCCA) which I've let lapse.Odd.
Also receiving calls from this number on a daily basis at approx 9 am. Really creepy how there's never a message left either. Tried calling back and it's instant voice mail "Our operator is away blah blah."
My phone allows me to set a ringtone for a given number to 'silent.' I usually name such things 'crap.' Some days I get more calls from 'crap' than I do my friends...
