Called on my cell...every day for weeks. I thought it was a psycho stalker or something. I answer a couple of times and noone os there. NOW I know that you all are having the same problem.
For the past 2 weeks we have been getting calls from 541-864-1492. I do not answer when I do not recognize the number. He/She never leaves a message. I am on the do not call list. How did he/she get my number?
I have answered several times; this is a business phone and I happen to have a vendor in the same area code. There's never anybody on the line! Maybe I should contact the Oregon BBB? I think this is perhaps a bigger deal than people realize; like it could be someone checking to see if anyone is in the building or something. If it were a telemarketer, someone would have gotten a pitch from them by now, wouldn't they?
This number was trying to get me to renew my membership to the American Dietetic Association. Annoying!
Getting calls from this number daily - sometimes twice a day. Won't answer it. Any idea how to make it stop?
This is the second "TYPE" of call like this I've received over the past few months. The only thing different is the phone number and the place was Harris and Haris, supposedly a collection company??. I wonder if it's from one of the many free sample products I've given my info on. Ionly get free samples from 93.9 WLIT and WalMart. Occasionally, I'll get one from Kim Komando's site in her freebie column. Anyone else use these places?
Well, all I can say is that you run a slipshod organization since absolutely nobody is ever, ever, ever on the line when I answer (and yes, I have stayed on the line for up to a minute before they hung up). As far as I can see you are paid by the call, not by how much money you raise, and you are a bunch of crooks. Nonprofit? Whom do you benefit???
I asked to get off their list and have still received 2 calls since then. I think the next thing we need to do is contact the membership organizations on whose behalf these f*kers are calling and let them know that this is NOT the way to win us over to renew. I expect non-profits that I've supported or groups I've been a member of to make better choices in the use of their resources than to hire BS companies like this. Let your orgs know and hit this company where it hurts! I'm going to answer their call tomorrow so I can find out which group their calling about, and if they ever call again...AIR HORN.
