Called the company after receiving over 8 calls over the past three months, despite picking up, I get no response on the other end of the line --When you call back the number on caller ID you can never get through and there is no identification as to who is calling.The caller ID appears as 541-864-1492I called 541-864-1492 trying to determin who was calling and report my disatisfaction with not getting an answer when I call back and no response even when I pick up- howvever no one ever answers at this number.I called the 877-581-2565 found here on this web site - I think that the local non-profits who use this service are being discredited with this company's practices, and it makes me even less inclined to give any money.I was told that this company was hired on behalf of the AMERICAN COLLEGE OF HEALTHCARE EXECUTIVES for membership dues collection. I will certainly let them know.

Call from thus number mid day. picked up, long dead space after my greeting, said geeting a second time still long dead space. Was just about to hang up when someone started speaking (heavy breathing like sitting up was a difficult task for her) and she asked for my wife by formal name. I said "May I ask who is calling please?", no reply. Then asked to speak with me by my formal full name. Again " May I ask who is calling please?". She hung up. Called number back and went straight to a voice mail box that said was full and no message could be left (gee wonder why). Great strategy these people have to get you to restart some membership or buy something, [***] your potential customers. Or more likely a phishing scheme to get personal info thinly masked as a marketing ploy.

Yup, Medford Oregon is all I get on the caller ID... I have answered a few times but just hear a "click" on the other end. Must be Big Brother checking up on all of the right-wing-conservative-christians... Do we have anything in common? Remember, just becasue your paranoid does not mean they are not out to get you. I received a call from 541-864-1492 and asked who it was ( I was curious since I am from Oregon) and the man told me he was hired by Friends of the Griffth Park Observatory because they do not have the man power to make all the calls for membership renewal.

APPARENTLY IT IS AN OREGON AREA CODE?

Just received a call from this number tonight at 8:25 pm. Did not answer. Like everyone else, if it is a private or unknown and I don't recognize the number, I do not answer.

I too am very grateful for this forum. We've only had 2 calls--so far--but that's 2 too many without a message being left. I first went on "white pages.com" but it simply said the number was unpublished, and I wasn't about to pay a fee to find out who it was. My theory is, if it's some long-distant person I know, they'll leave a message. So it's very helpful to find out here that other people have been harassed by it. It's good to know about the website, but I plan to simply use the blocking utility in my phone. (Mine's a Panasonic, and one of the reasons I bought it was this ability to block calls.) The only drawback there is that the phone will still ring once, so if the call comes when you're taking a nap, that can still be disturbing. But from past blocks, I think the callers must get the message that their number is being blocked, because the calls then usually stop after only a few more times. Would be good if those who've tried the web site could post back and let us know if it worked or not . . . But thanks anyway for all the info you have given.

I am so glad I decided to google this number. This forum has been wonderful, and thank you Amy for looking up the way to remove one's phone number.

This number calls my business phone every evening for the past 2 weeks. They don't leave a message and because I don't know who or what it is, I'm not calling it back.
