If anyone can help me get rid of their annoying harassing calls, please tell me so I report the harassment. My credit rating is good, and I'm not interested in getting upset at whatever it is they think I owe.

I have no idea who this is or for. I wish to be left alone. I am not a charity and I do not pay others bills. The need to stop calling my cell phone . How in the world did a collection company, if thats what they are. How did they get my cell number?

THIS NUMBER CALLED ME WANTED MY MOTHERS NAME, LAST 4 SS #, MY MAIDEN NAME, DOB. DUH!!!!! SAID HER NAME WAS LISA AND SAID SHE COULD NOT TELL ME WHAT HER COMPANY REPRESENTS. SAID SHE NEEDED THIS INFO TO MAKE SURE I WAS THE RIGHT PERSON SHE WAS LOOKING FOR. DOES THIS COMPANY REALLY EXIST? I HAVE EXCELLENT CREDIT AND I DO NOT HAVE ANY OUTSTANDING/UNPAID BILLS. PEOPLE NEED TO BE CAREFUL SOUNDS LIKE IDENTY FRAUD.

fyi, you're an idiot. They buy debt that's past the statute of limitations. They call the last phone number listed by the borrower. The person who answers usually does not owe the debt, since they were not the borrower. Then the agency tries to intimidate them into paying a debt they do not owe.

My boss just got a phone call from these people at HER HOME, NOT MY HOME, HER HOME, wanting my home phone number. I looked up the company and I sent them an email asking them what they want with me. My God, how stupid!

To all who have had calls from Diversified Collection Services, if you can, get a petition up, get as many signatures as you can, even from people who have not had dealings with this company, but have been harassed by other agencies. Send the petitions to your state attorney general's office and a copy to the Federal Trade Commission. They will take it from there. This company has had over 842 complaints against them but they have managed to get away with their unfair debt practices. If everyone comes together, you might be able to put them out of business. Seems like in 2002, DCS was one of eight corporations accused of giving a total of $190,000 to Texans for a Republican Majority legislative campaign. Bet you it was money that they harassed people out of.

TO FYI...DCS takes money even after the loans are paid. They never send you any monthly statements letting you know your balance and/or next payment date. The U.S. Dept. of Education sends your application for a loan to a gurantor, i.e. Great Lakes, Fannie Mae, etc, who in turns seeks to find a lender. You have 30 days to respond to the collection agency, however DCS doesn't wait 30 days to hear from you. They begin to harass you from the moment you contact them desputing the balance or even owing the money. There have been people who have paid off their loans years ago but DCS and Great Lakes said that they still owe money. Petition!

Receiving calls on my business cellphone from these guys and so is my uncle. What can I do?

This company Keeps calling me about a deliquent Student loan. I have never had a student loan, the name they have is the same as my name but diffrent SS# and DOB. they still call 3-4 times a day i am sick of it.

Asking for "Donat Grillet". I have had this phone # for over 3 years. It was his # previously. I told the woman that this was not his phone number, it was mine and to stop calling, as I have received over 75 calls from people looking for him. She got upset with my anger and went off on me. And then, hung up.
