I got the same call 2day, from the same #. Offering me $10,000.00 & telling me the same thing as U! Thanks 4 this site!!!

just got a call from this number saying they were from Microsoft and someone from Australia was trying to hack my computer. When I asked him how that's possible because my computer was off and unplugged he hung up. Total scam! Ali's he was Indian and said his name was Peter, another dead giveaway.

When answered asked if we were jugs (umm wtf)

Telemarketing call on mobile I am registered on do not call list.

Some Indian sounding woman said I had a grant from the government. I told her to go f*** herself.

I received a phone calling saying i was selected for grant money and when i question ther motive and ask for the official website they hang up the phone.Please do not give information to this what look like a scam to get your money not to give you money. SCAM SCAM SCAM ..........

I didn't answer. I once answered & they told me I was eligible for a lot of money because I had some kind of a mesh implant. I informed him I had no mesh implant & to remove my name from the list. I hung up. Same method of operation. Guy with an Indian accent. I get one of these calls regularly. I don't answer calls from numbers that I don't recognize. If it truly is an important call they will leave a message. They never leave a message.

"This is a verification call...." saying that the government is issuing me a grant. I asked the guy if he knew who he was speaking to but he would then start over with "This is a verification call..." It is definitely the scam to get your banking and/or credit card info because you need to provide it in order to recieve the money that you were selected for. Since the guy was unable to tell me my name and information, i just said thank you and hung up.
