Extended car warranty call from a recorded message. They give you a chance to be removed from the call list by pressing 2 but then they just use a different number for the next time they call.

Called my cell phone. They didn't leave a message I blocked the number after reading the other posts.

LOL Glad I'm not the only one who does that. I did one in the middle of the post office it was a 1997 Seaman Demon.

I think that they are parank callers and just type random numbers and use those numbers over and over again

why has spelling become so unimportant for the masses, even the public schools dont seem to care if our language is trampled on.Its no wonder our country is in the dire straits that it is when ignorance is accepted as normal. If we as a people cant do the simple things ( like spell your own name) then what makes you think you can tackle difficult problems

This is not actually a valid number. These are low end pranksters that have just discovered Caller ID Spoofing.

in response to A do you know how the do not call list works? all persons or companys wishing to be in the telemarketing business must register and pay a fee for a current list of telephone numbers that consumers (thats you ,me ect.that have requested be included on that list from the fedral trade commission.Most of the calls recieved from unknown numbers or faked id numbers are from overseas scammers or crooks in the US that are not regestered telemarketers,nor do they use call list they use robot dialers to call any number that rings ,why is this so hard for seemingly intelligent folks to understand,I think people want to believe that they are so important that telemarketers will track them down

Got call today from 555-555-5555. Did not answer. Last week in one day I received 7 calls from 7 different numbers about an extended car warranty. When I do answer I press the number to be removed from call list. This is happen on my cell and my Mother's house phone. Both of our numbers are on the National Do Not Call Registry. It does no good. This is getting very annoying. Also getting calls from company wanting to lower My credit card interest rates. Told them I don't use credit cards. They keep calling despite me telling them not to and me threatening to sue them because I am on the DNC Registry. Can never find out the name of company calling because when I press number to speak to someone I get cut off. Call back and I get busy signal.
