They called for the first time yesterday, and given the spoofed number I let it go to VM. Nothing. Then I read this page and now they called twice today and I just pick up and quickly hang up.
Called 11-7-2009 @ 13:42, 11-8-2009 @ 13:58, 11-9-2009 @ 11:48, 11-10-2009 @ 11:19; left no message. Really now, give me a break!
I am recieving 3 calls per day, never get to talk to any body. the calls started after i got a call from 8026610070 about extended waranty on my 2015 car, i never returned any mail, then pressed 2 to be put on do not call list,even talked rude person to put me do not call list and the hung up on me. Then the 555 started calling.

got a call 12-14-09 and answered the call from 555-555-5555 and it was a state of michigan dept of corrections employee calling about a job i had applied for and wanted to schedule a interview. I had applied and it was real i told her thou she should change the number she was calling from since to me looks fake.....
I do not answer phones with area codes that are not even local. First time i've seen the 555 area code let alone all 5's lmao.... Definitely not a local number looks like scam to me. Called me around 3:00 pm... The Governments Do Not Call List does not work... 800 notes works better then the Government at least you know who was called by that number before.
Got a call from 1-555-555-5555. A man left a message, saying "Please return a call to Steve Bruss (I'm not sure about the last name, but that's what it sounded like) at 1-800-925-6141." I looked up that number and it is National Enterprise Systems, a debt collection agency. Is it legal for them to disguise their phone number this way?
