I have received several calls today from this #. The same caller knew my cell#,address, and last four digits of a credit card # . Caller had a heavy Indian accent & wouldn't give me his manager or stop calling after I asked during the first call. Defifinitely a scam. Probably an identify theft attemp. I'm filing a report against the company/number. DO NOT GIVE OUT ANY INFO!
The same thing I’m reading on here happened to me right after I ordered funeral flowers online. I don’t shop online, but decided to use the online florist that popped up on the webpage for obituaries online. The reason I know that is where they got their information from is because I listed my work phone on the order form for the flowers that I ordered. A couple of days later, I got a call at work from the 613-333-3456 number. A woman with a heavy accent asked me to verify my name and began thanking me for using my credit card; she then read off the last 4 digits of my visa card; and then began telling me that I would receive a gift and to verify my address. I cut her off right there and told her I wasn’t interested because at the point when she read off my credit card numbers I became extremely alarmed and agitated. She just kept on reciting her script like she was reading it and wasn’t really paying attention to me. I repeated that I didn’t want their gift and that I wasn’t interested. I immediately called my credit card company and explained what happened and was informed that not one, but two $4.95 charges had hit my account and another one for $24.95 all within 2 days of me purchasing the flowers. The credit card company credited the charges off, closed out that card and issued me a new card. They told me that any other charges that looked suspect to me when I received my statement to let them know and they would credit those off also. Sure enough, when I got my statement, there was another $24.95 charge on there that the credit card company credited off. Since then, I haven’t ordered anything online and probably never will again. The only thing different for me is that I never once uttered the words “yes” or “correct” and they still got me. It’s sad that criminals are controlling cyberspace now days.
keep on recieving this phone call and I know no one in that part of canada. I did not pick up.
I AM A MINISTER AND THEY CALLED ME A REVEREND. HAD LAST 4 OF MY CARD NO. SO HUNG UP ON THEM. THEN CALLED BACK THE NUMBER AND IT WAS OUT OF SERVICE SO GOOGLED AND GOT NUMBER FOR NCA FINCIAL AND HAD MY NUMBER REMOVED FROM THEIR LIST . HOPE IT WORKS. FED UP WITH THESE SCAMS EVERY DAY EVEN ON SUNDAY
These people have to be from India. I made a mistake a few weeks ago and bought an electronic cigarette from a tv ad. They gave my credit card number to others and suddenly I have been enrolled in several magazines and some travel and savings deals. I had to call of them all up and my money was refunded, but I think I'll have to change my debit card! Just can't use the internet anymore I guess.
They have called twice in one day all within a few hours. Asking for a person at my phone for their mastercard ending in ????. This is clearly a scam because I had a similar insident months ago.
I received a call from the same people with Indian accents that I couldnt understand, but like and idiot, I verified my name and address, and email address, so I hope nothing happens. I didn't give anymore info out but I'm wondering if they already had the last four digits of my card, and they only have my name and address, how can they get other info to possible make illegal charges? Someone please enlighten me. I won't be talking to these people again. It reminds me of the guy for USA prime credit named Peggy on those commercials on TV, lol.
