I also get the daily "lower your interest rate" calls- and pressing "3" to end the calls is useless, getting them on the line to decline, as others have stated, is useless- they immediately disconnect. So my new solution, which I have not had a chance to use, is when they call, I will go ahead and get the scammer on the line, and as soon as the come on, before they even have a chance to disconnect- to know whether they have found themselves a sucker to scam, the first thing they will hear: is the loudest blast from an air/foghorn!!! (those small 6" air canisters that boaters have- about $20 on Amazon) Maybe then they'll put me on THEIR- DNC call list!!! Otherwise, I'll just keep blasting them until they stop!

Pre-recorded message on my cell phone, even though all our phone numbers are registered with DoNotCall. Today's opening was, "Congratulations, I am informing you that you've just won a free trip to the Bahamas." Hung up immediately. So annoying,

same happened to me this morning, twice

I had same thing happen.

Why are they charging me $9 MORE per month? How much will Mr. McAdams get per month? If I use the blocking system from this local phone ,WILL THEY CHARGE ME MORE ON MY BILL? With $9 more on the bill,as least they should give me CLOSE CAPTION on YOU TUBE so that I understand the broken english from the Indian professors teaching Telecommunication at TTI so that I can understand what the hell they talk about,after all,I do have a hearing impaired who lost his job as an AMERICAN technician for more than 25 years or more in this field with the college bkgnds from USA!!!
