I remember receiving an email about the lost laptop and now I can tell that the calls started around the same time. Who knows what else is compromised!.
Yep, these [***] have just started calling me several times per day too, starting a few days ago. Same scam as reported by everyone else. I played along for a while telling them I had 40K in CC debt, etc. When the guy asked for my credit card number, I said "I don't think so" and he hung up. Coward! I also got another robo call telling me it was my last chance to lower my mortgage rate. When I attempted to talk to an operator, I was told all circuits were busy, then was hung up on. F***ers!
I feel the worst for Mike Jones. These people must have cracked into his voicemail. Just imagine poor Mike listening to all of his messages. :(
I keep getting these calls. No message is left. I have no debtors trying to locate me. How do I get these calls to stop?
Rec'd a call from this number. Asked to have my number removed from their list, was told I would need to do one thing before they would remove my number and that was to take off my bra....reported to the FBI
By chance, are you military? A while back (about when this stuff started happening) my insurance, Tricare lost a laptop. They swear up and down that no one could have taken information from it. I sort of believe them but it's too much to call a coincidence.Can you think of anything that may have triggered it?

Called and asked me to return call about a musical instrument that must be returned immediately. Got my name wrong as well. Scammers.

Got my name wrong, no where near close to the person they're trying to scam/contact. Call came from North Texas, left no company name, nothing. Shady asf, 888 area code is commonly used by scammers so this may not be legit.

Sent an email trying to encourage people to call Bank of America at this number. As phishing attempt go, this one was better than most. I can smell these things a mile away.

Call identification states Rocket Mortgage. Never call back a call without checking number first. Never take the name on caller ID to be the true caller.
