They hope you will want to sign up for a call identifying service for a fee. They then have your credit card number for future illegal use, and a few bucks from your account.
Change you phone number. Give it to no one but your family and friends, and your banks fraud alert department. Never under any circumstances put it out there on any web site ...Never.
The recording is advertising to lower credit card debt. The call comes in several times a day, will not allow me to opt out. I want this call to STOP, help will be greatly appreciated
I get these on a regular basis. ALL of our numbers are on a DNC list. I have filed complaints with the FTC. They still call. Say that they are going to lower my interest rate of my credit cards. My bank has supposedly authorized them to call me. NOT! And I do not have credit card levels anywhere near where they say I have them. LOLThe locations are Denver, Boston, and Florida. I simply do not answer the phone if I do not know the phone number. My cell has the caller ID and if it is without a name, I don't answer. I wish that there was a way to save all of the people from getting these.
I have continully regisitered on the do not call list. This does not seem to make a difference. I am irritated because these companies use a phone I pay for and use up minutes I pay for.
REceive 2-3 calls a day from these [***]. Anyone want to firebomb their office? I am SICK of it!!!!

Called and asked me to return call about a musical instrument that must be returned immediately. Got my name wrong as well. Scammers.

Automated voice requested a call back from a person not at this number.

Got my name wrong, no where near close to the person they're trying to scam/contact. Call came from North Texas, left no company name, nothing. Shady asf, 888 area code is commonly used by scammers so this may not be legit.

Sent an email trying to encourage people to call Bank of America at this number. As phishing attempt go, this one was better than most. I can smell these things a mile away.
