I received a voicemail from (623) 492-4000. Caller identified herself as an American Express representative and said she was calling regarding my husband's account. I called American Express directly to inquire, and they confirmed that this was not a call they had placed, and it was in fact a scam.
Received a call from 623 492 4000 Phoenix AZ. I do not know anyone out there so ignored the call. Left message - Kelly from American Express told me a I could call her back directly on 866 235 1664. I don't have American Express and I'm on the do not call list so not sure how they received my information. Not calling back.
Got a call at 5:02pm on my cell phone. The woman identified herself as someone calling from American Express but she said it was not a sales call. In the middle of the conversation she remembered to say that the call was being recorded. There was an odd beep every once in a while, maybe every thirty seconds. She called my cell phone to ask for the man I'm divorcing. She wouldn't tell me why she was calling because I'm clearly not my husband. I just called American Express and the disinterested gentleman I spoke to said that this number is not one of theirs. I asked if he wanted to take a report about it or if there was something he suggested I do and he said I should put my number on "that do not call" list. It already is, so that didn't help. He couldn't have cared any less and I'm really disappointed with Amex.
I just got call from 623-492-4000 - Josh said that he was calling from American Express's Fraud division and asked if we had authorized a $2000 charge on our card. Called the number back and the gal who answered said that it was "American Express" - I asked her why they were trying to scam people and she said that they were the "answering service" for the operators ... I guess AMEX is outsourcing their outsourcing. I kept calling her out on the scam and she "politely" hung up.
I rec'd a message allegedly from a Kody fro 855 431 6072 who was calling on behalf of American Express. American Express said that is not one of their numbers and they would check into it immediately.
Not a call from this number, but was from Savannah at American Express to call her at 855-532-2500.

I live in Michigan, got a call and text from this number saying to shelter in place. Said there is an active incident and don’t answer doors unless it’s law enforcement officer. Said we’d receive another message when issue resolved.

From the QUITLINE - can be any state - PA for me - I followed their program to quit smoking and this was a follow up survey - NOT SPAM - The service was helpful and the survey harmless.
Got 2 calls from this number stating that it is a colect call from an inmate. We don' t know anyone who is an inmate anywhere.

My calls were being forwarded to this number and I have no idea how it happened.
They hung up. In the last ten days I've had unauthorized credit card charges and an identity theft related to a Medicare fraud case. I suspect this is related.

Medicredit I believe possibly is scam/fraud calls involving medical insurance, medicare. Courts WILL decide !!
