I got sporadic calls from this number for years. I always called back to be told there was no problem with my account. I would ask why I was being call and they said there was no way to tell.Finally I told them I was going to file harassment complaints and demanded to speak to the CEO's office etc. After repeatedly offering to bring down the four horsemen of the apocalypse upon them, they agreed to look into why I was being called.They found that my number, despite all promises to the contrary, was in an outgoing telemarketing system and they did remove it. Since then it has not occurred.So, they can track down why you are being called, they just don't want to take the time. Be very persistent. Let them know it is an issue and that you will continue to call them daily until they find out why and fix it. Eventually, they will decided that you are taking up more of their time than fixing it would.
This is Cox Communications, as others have noted. I received a couple of missed calls and a hang-up voicemail from them before I called to see what they wanted. I am a Cox customer for internet and cable, and it turns out they were calling to try to sell me landline phone service.
My cable was out and was serviced today; my guess is that the call was a follow up for today's service. I pay my bills, so it's not a collection call.
its actual people you guys are smokin something. They called me to tell me I had just spoke to them via chat and made service changes. Which I did not. However IT IS NOT AN AUTO DIALER. When you can it back make sure you have cleaned your ears out to hear there are REAL PEOPLE on the line.
This number just called me and left a message...it was Cox Communications. They were confirming an installation appointment I made for my new house - it was a computerized message, not a live person.
I HAVE RECIEVED SEVERAL CALLS FROM THIS NUMBER FOR THE PAST SEVERAL DAYSNO MESSAGE IS LEFT.

They have called twice but don't leave a voicemail. With the rise if AI voice spoofing, I won't take the chance. Snail mail, text or detailed vmail is the only way to engage with me, stay safe and pray that God touches the hearts of these scammers.
