Yup, I'm sure you have. Do they give you a list of sites to shill on, or do you have to find them on your own?
This site has quite a few other comments from people who have worked for Rose International and verify that this is a real company. The company helps people find jobs.
Hi. When the caller or e-mailer wants to "discuss your resume" that is the first tip that something is wrong. Real recruiters want to discuss possible job opportunities.
Called me and I let it go to VM. It was somebody with heavy (Indian?) accent. Did not understand a single word he said. Deleted the message and blocked their number.
I have worked for them. Typical Indian body shop. low pay, unaffordable, ridiculous health insurance. no paid time off. you are a day laborer who can be let go at the drop of a hat. The whole "system" of using contractors as employees in corporate America is anti EOE. It should be outlawed. Why should parasites(contracting companies) be in between the worker and the company they work "at"(not for)? IBM is notorious for propagating this system and it is a fraud to their customers(who think they are getting IBM employees for the high rate they are pay, but are in reality getting the lowest paid people the contracting company can find) and is very damaging to the worker(you know the "talent", the one with the skills). where are the advocates for the IT workers? Why is this so prevalent in IT?The biggest complaint I have is that they misfiled(purposely???) my income as to be earned in Ohio and not NY(where I live and worked). That delayed my unemployment benefits for a month..
I have previously worked for Rose International. They placed me on a few different IT assignments. Contract work seems to be more common in the current industry and economy. I like the flexibility of contract positions. Everyone I encountered at Rose was easy to connect with, so my questions were answered in a timely manner.
will have to visit the job sites again to see if they give a way to conceal email and phone #. I got 2 of the same email from roseint.com . found this info from you guys on 800notes. thanks!also, I get a lot of cell ph calls from numbers i've never seen before ever since I updated my info on Careerbuilder.com. It may be that using CB is not a wise thing, although I like their format for searching.
Very unprofessional manners. This not India and certain rules have to be followed geniuses.
Yes I've received calls and emails from them over the years...if you're on CareerBuilder or Monster or some other website then recruiting firms from all over the US can call...I usually tell them no because the jobs they come up with are in Portland or surrounding communities and I live in Washington.
