ok so i see this is a common problem for people using telus in canada...got the same message from this psychocutie person....howdy! a friend gave me your number and i here you are quite an enjoyable person. My name online is pyschocutie_p080, but i am a little bad at this so i dont wanna tell you who i am just yet. Soo if youre interested, come fine me at pyschocutie_p080.match-hop.no lie that's the message word for word..i knew it was none of my friends...cause they can spell,make sense when they speak/text and they would not give out my number. for some reason though the numbers in the message are blue..not sure why. gonna give telus a call right now..

I got the same thing from caller ID 5000 on my TMobile cell phone. I dont subscribe to telius.

I got a message May 4th 2008 saying a friend of mine gave this person my number and that I'm a lovely person but they're shy and want me to check out their profile (hope0707) to see if I'm interested. It seemed odd, though, that I wasn't shown any number to reply to (if I had wanted) so I assumed it was spam or blocked. I've looked this up online and apparently its a spam message that slipped through the cracks of wireless carriers.

With t-mobile, got the same junk this morning from 5000 with the "bet you can't guess who I am" bit.Not on myspace or facebook, my guess is they're just going down a list of random numbers or maybe from a list they got from a cell phone company employee they paid off.
