The caller ID said "Wireless caller". My boyfriend picked it up and put it on speaker phone. The caller had a heavy accent, may be Middle Eastern or South Asian, with some background noise. Someone was saying Mammad or Muhm-mad or some thingy. Difficult to understand given the accent. Anyway it sounded like some scam. May be even some terror group seeking American dollars to fund themselves.
THIS just happened to me. Just now. Couldn't understand a word. "Call Center' noise in the background was so loud. Told them where to jump off and hung up.
I got scammed when I downloaded Windows 10 I knew that window that popped up was a scam before but had a brain freeze and called the number they got into my computer and demanded 149.00 I laughed asked for their name to call them back he kept insisting I hung up and called my IT security they got them off my computer and removed viruses really scary afraid still do do anything on my computer

I received a package from a rigging company in New York with my name and address but this phone number as my contact number.
Looking for a person (that was not me) about a legal matter.

Calls once or twice per week with voice msg "Brandon from CTS" call me back. WTF is CTS? No context, no real msg.
Phone number calls multiple times a day, once someone from my office picks up, it is dead silence on the other line. When you try to call back, it is a number that is not in service.
