They keep on trying I call back after I hang up and number is not working always about my computer I let them say one sentence then laugh at them and hang up

First time I got one of these calls in June 2014, my computer had just started acting weird so when I answered the "Unknown Name/Unknown Number" that called and told me I had a virus....I immediately suspected that they had already infected my PC with something and were now trying to drive the killing blow by getting remote access. I told them to F Off but was majorly freaked out. Ever since that day I have never fully trusted my PC despite having a full gambit of security software that conducts weekly scans, having my internet provider upgrade my modem (supposed reason I was having connectivity issues), and having an IT expert check it.The one "good" thing that came of this is that it raised my awareness of the scam call culture just as the epidemic had begun and made me aware of sites like this and all the BS that occurs on phones. I know have a Panasonic phone that does call block, etc. and I report scams like this type and the IRS BS (just got another one of those to my VM the other day) when I can and practice better internet security and phone answering practices.But I still don't trust PCs anymore. I really wonder how much they can detect and hijack your IP address and know when to strike.

Just got a call from that number (2/5/16). Didn't answer, but blocked it, hopefully never hear from them again. Sure must be some way the phone company can do something about these scam calls.

wont stop calling about a computer i dont have and i have asked several times to removed my number

Just received a call from a very thick accented, maybe Indonesian, as I was driving home from work, regarding my home computer. I told him the call was being recorded what did he want, the next thing I heard was a dial tone. I have blocked the number on my phone, but this is certainly has SCAM written all over it!

Just received call from this number. I never answer calls from numbers I do not recognize. I blocked the number from further calls.

I got a call from a guy with a thick Indian accent with a lot of noise in the background. He claimed that there was some security issue with my computer and hackers could get into my computer. He was willing to help me clear this up. It's a scam....I explained to them that I'm an IT Manager and they should just take my number off their list.I could have had fun with it.. maybe I should have.

I love to mess with these people. I try and waste as much of their time as possible!

Received a phone call from this number. Answered it, knew it was a scam (and said so on the phone) and hung up.

I keep getting the same calls as well. My husband likes to play with them and ask when our new or fixed computer is being sent back to us. They get flustered and hang up. I just laugh at them and tell them how funny they are calling someone who doesn't have a computer. Lol!! They get flustered with that last one and try to verify they are talking to *****me*****. I just keep laughing till they hang up. It's a real stress reliever to mess with these jerks. GL to others with this problem.
