Indid answer. Nothing on other end so I hung up and called the number right back. "We're sorry. The number is no longer in service. " Really? How can that be?
I receive calls from this number on an ongoing basis. I usually pick up the phone and not say anything. That way hopefully they are paying for charges. I now have put them on my block list.They should be charged with harrassment!
Credit-card interest-rate scam. They're probably after your card number to use it fraudulently.
If this phone number is a scam how come the police or government doesn't put a stop to it. The number is 647-898-8827 do not answer the phone these are scam artist.
Call to reduce interest on credit card only able to keep them on phone for a few minutes, hopefully that helped in leaving someone else alone.

The person called to verify employment of someone, but I didn't recognize the person's name. The caller had an accent, and I couldn't understand them. I didn't call back to let them know they had reached a wrong number.
