It depends on what you are trying to block them from calling. Check with your service provider, or you can purchase a seperate blocking device.
"Lower your interest rates, blah, blah ,blah." I made the mistake of pressing 2 a few months back to be removed and that just lets them know they have a "live one". Continuous calls from the number since.
For about $35 you can get a "Telezapper" on eBay. It fools a particular kind of computer-dialing equipment into thinking it's reached a disconnected number. In theory, it will then drop your number from the database. The call from this number was disconnected by our 'zapper as soon as I picked up.
Credit card scumbags !! Where is police fraud department ? !! To fish them out and punish, paying hefty fines
