My husband just to a call on his cell phone from this number 661-748-0240. They said they were calling from Microsoft and that his computer was infected with multiple trojan horses and he needed to pay for their help to remove them. They said that his computer had come to their attention because it was sending messages to the Microsoft office. They had him go to a website: microsoftsupportusa.com/tb-pc.html to prove they were who they said and wanted to have him allow them to view his machine through a connection. They sounded pretty legit they even walked him through looking at some files on his computer that they said were the program files for the trojans. But the phone connection was very bad and the women on the other end didn't speak good English - WARNING!

I got this call this morning but didnt answer. They did not leave a voicemail. I do have an issue with the 80000000cb.@ trojan malware (but theres no way my machine contacted Micro$oft. These ppl are likely exploiting ordinary pc users through the virus. Do not allow them to access your machine remotely unless you are 100% sure they are who they claim to be.

Wow...these Bozo's are busy...i have received two calls today but we weren't home...if it is a computer scam I'd like to screw with them...the last one that tried this with me I wasted a half an hour of his time before he hung up on me...i like to screwing with these %=÷#! €&%&* morons

I received a phone call from this number stating that a convicted child molestor was going to be moving to my neighborhood and hasn't registered.

My mother recieved a call yesterday from this number requesting $2500 to help her grandson who was involved in a terrible car accident in CA. She was all shook up but wise enough to tell a family member. They were even instructing her to go the the local WinnDixie supermarket to put the money on a cash card so they could get access to it.Looking at all of these other posts for this same number this has been going on for yeary. No one can stop it?

Got a call from this number at 3:30 am. Didn't answer but message was left. Could hear intense breathing and rustling on message.

I got a call from this number at 11:02 am today. I didn't answer because I didn't recognize the phone number and let it go to voicemail. They didn't leave a voicemail and when I called back it said "no routes found".

Me too reported this caller. I blocked that phone#. I too got sucked into having him looking at my pc remotelly. STUPID STUPID MOVE ...! I was told I had a virus also. Hung up! I'm no longer using windows XP. I reloaded my laptop to a Linux operating system.

I just got a call from this number and the man calling stated he was from Sony. He said he was calling about a ballot I completed and needed to verify some information. When I said that I don't give out my personal information to just anyone and that I would need a legitimate phone number to call him back at he hung up.
