Same story here. I gave them too much information. Fortunately, my bank was on top of things and called to see if a charge was legit. I told them it wasn't so the didn't let it go through. Had to get new business and personal cards. Much time lost, but no money. Love to catcth them and stop the fraud. Never again!

All of you who they are telling they are from England, Germany, India or whatever...that is the first indication of a scam. 661 area code is Bakersfield CA. They are using that number as a turn around in order to hide their real number since that is a skype phone number. All of you that are getting scammed might want to try this...Anytime you get a call from any unknown number do not answer. Instead google the number first and if they are legit= IE no reports filed you can always call them back, preferably from a blocked number. Good Luck all.?

This is a Skype number used to dial cell phones or landlines not on Skype. It could be anyone. In my case it came from a friend who was trying to Skype me.

Called me early Saturday morning 7:45. When I answered they rung up. Must be fishing or robo call.

I just got two calls from this number also; 661-748-0240. In the first call the guy said his name was Vincent. I asked him to repeat it and he said again his name was Vincent and then asked if I went into the store and stole groceries. I then hung up. He called right back. I didnt answer it. So this is the same number but has nothing to do with Microsoft. Odd.

Just got a call from this number on my cell. Did not answer it . Caller ID said Palmdale area

This effin person keeps blowing up my phone saying he's from college government grants!..its gotten out of hand..how can we stop the this BS!!?

SCAM received call to order and pay by credit card to be shipped to Nigeria.

dont call here again will report you to the bbb. Not looking for help on my computer...
