Got a call from this number today saying my credit card was locked, and to unlock it, I needed to enter my CC #. I hung up.
Received a call from this number tonight. An automated voice I needed to update my Bank of America account information. I pressed "1" to continue and it asked me to enter my credit card number. I hung up of course. As many others have stated this is obviously criminal activity.
Received a call from 701-509-8703.Did not recognize # added to cell phone reject list. Great tool from AT@T.SCREW THE SPAMMERS
Thanks to search engines, I found this site for 701-509-8703. Claimed to be Bank of America and card "frozen." Just let the message play out and they disconnected. I know BOA doesn't have my cell number on any account information so that was pretty much the tip-off for this scam attempt.
Just got a robo call from this number, they wanted me to press 1 to get to their security dept. Said my card was locked. I hung up & blocked number.
Got a call from this number today, but the VM is different than the ones people are reporting. I called it from a different number (received call on my TMobile mobile). The message I got stated that "if I didn't want future calls from this number to press 1 to be placed on a 'do not call' list. I work for a Fraud Investigation team for a major online retailer and this is a typical scam to verify if a number is in fact valid. Pressing '1' won't remove you from a list, but in fact lets the scammer know that there is a human being in possession of that actual number. I imagine that the other recordings were the same thing, just under the guise of a "bank". My advice is to not call this number back as it will open you up to future calls by whomever has this number list.
Numerous calls from this number to our phones... yes phones. We just hang up because this is a scam.
This number is a scam. I got a call with a electronic recorded voice saying that it was Bank of America, and that my card had been locked. It asked me to enter my 16 digit card number to reactivate my card.
