This number called me today, July 25, 2011 @ 1:10P.M. When I called it back, it said it was a nun-working Navy Federal Number.

It is NFCU. I received a call from a Fraud & Security, returning a call I placed with them.

I received a call from them last week and they left a message and it was unclear. I called them back and told them they have the wrong number, quite calling my phone and they said disregard the call. Today they call again and left me a message that was unclear again. I tried to call them back and got a recording saying this is a non-working number.

As much as I hate to admit it, I agree with Mr. Obama (see above). I am affiliated with a credit union, but not Navy Federal. I've blocked their calls, so they don't bother me.

This call is not from NFCU...I don't have a mortgage loan...so this is a scam! I let the phone ring, then returned the call. As others, the caller states that this is a non working number.

This person has called 5 times in the past ten minutes and never say's a word. I'm getting tired of them calling . I don't answer the phone.They leave a voice mail with no message.

Unsolicited calls.

This number has called me 4 times in the last 5 minutes. I don't answer. they've left messages but it's just beeping sounds like a busy fax machine. I've read the comments and have never heard of nfcu, never been in the navy. Don't have a mortgage.

It is indeed Navy Fed Credit Union mortgage collections department. Just spoke with them about the call. I called the customer service number on my statement. Seemed hokey to me, too, since we don't usually have any problems with our account. However, we had recently changed the way we pay our mortgage and it left a gap for this month. The mortgage specialist I spoke with talked to the gentleman who placed the call. It is a call-out number only.

LEGIT call number. I let them leave a message because I was at work and the return call number they provided IS the same one as you would see on the NFCU website and the back of your card. For me, it was to report that they saw unusual activity on the card and sure enough someone had duplicated the magnetic strip and was using it in a city I've never been in...10 hours from where I was using my actual card where I live.
