A guy called new my name said my computer was sending out spam and malware. Started wanting to. Know how old my comp was and the operation system brand name and how often I use it. I told him I do not check email on comp and is only on 10 to 30 min a day. He wanted me to turn on comp so he could show me the messages myy comp was sending out.

I got a phone call twice in a day.

We've been getting calls from this number day and night for three days. Dozens and dozens of call. It's a machine - just beeps like a fax. This is happening all hours of the day and night. Our phone company says it will cost me a monthly fee to block the call. I should not have to pay to be protected from this!

Continue to receive calls from this number that are not wanted...

There are at least two options for those bothered by people originating these offensive calls:1. Go to www.fcc.com and click on the electronic complaint form, filling out each of the entries (takes about two minutes), identifying the date and time of the unwanted call(s), any identifying information from Caller ID ("Unavailable" is a valid entry), your number where the call was received and your name, street and email addresses. The FCC will immediately respond with an email to you, identifying the file number assigned to your complaint. If everyone filed these complaints to the FCC, that deluge will prompt an investigation and likely a fine on the calling party.2. I followed a recommendation from a comment listed elsewhere on 800Notes, where that person was extremely frustrated over calls from a number different than 720-708-1000 (as the above folks obviously are) and purchased a DIGITONE Call Blocker from www.digitone.com Three features attracted my interest: a) I now can block up to 80 specific telephone numbers, b) This device has "First Ring Supression." meaning that you will not even hear the first ring!!, c) you can block entire area codes, a feature that can be used to block all 800, 866, 877, etc. numbers or those from specific (not toll-free) numbers. There may be other devices available, too. I saw immediate success with the one I purchased.Silence can be Golden!!Even so, I regularly report annoying/illegal/robo calls, etc. to the FCC. Now that I also use the DIGITONE device these annoying calls have been greatly reduced in number.

I am constantly getting calls from this number about reducing my credit card rates.

If these phone calls persist I WILL cal the local authorities, the phone company and file harassment!!! I am SICK of You

Also exempt are any company you have ever done business with or the people they share your information with, that is why you get calls from these idiots that try to sell you insurance for your credit card in case you get sick or die etc. This also includes any company that had a booth at a home show, fair etc and you provided your information in order to enter their contest, which really is the way they get names that they can give to a telemarketer that they hire to drum up business.

No answer when I picked up. When I called the number back I got a recording saying: "This is DNVRCO26PS1 operated by 567G."

i got a call and been receiving numerous calls about a 2012 mercedes and 1.5 million and they tell me they will be at my apt at 2 with both prizes. the first time they called they called from a private number. the second time they called the guy with an accent was telling me there was some holdup at the customs office and that i need to pay for a new "stamp" that was 282 dollars and i decided to have some fun lol. So he gives me the customs office number 619-780-9794. i check it on the White and yellow pages app to see if its listed. ITS NOT!!!! lol its either a cell or unlisted. i call the number cuz curiosity piqued me and strangely it goes to voicemail (HUH???) i hang up then i get a call from another PRIVATE number. Guess who? customs office with another guy with an accent. I ask him why do i have to pay for a prize i knew nothing about? he goes on and on bout some nonsense i didn't understand so i do my "uh huh" yeah" thing and he then gives me the merchant i have to "send to" via western union. and its for a Martha Lewis in New Iberia, LA . also the last few times for BOTH callers i got a call from the 720-708-1000 number
