I just received a call from this same phone number and the woman on the line asked for me by name and then informed me that I was chosen to receive a free grant from the US government in the amount of $8400. I asked why and how they came to give this grant to me and she said it was based on the demographics in my area and that I pay my taxes and have not filed for bankruptcy. I kept asking her where and why my name was chosen and she kept repeating the same thing. I said where are you calling from, what dept of the Government and she said Washington DC so I asked her why was her number showing up on my caller ID as being made from Colorado. She tried to say again she was calling from Washington D C and when I asked her what department she finally hung up on me. When I tried to return the call I got a recording that it was not in service. A real scam... By the way I could hardly understand her since her accent was so heavy I figured she was calling from India. She avoided answering my question when I asked and what am I going to have to do for this "grant".

Repeated calls all day from this CO number.

Didn't hear the phone so didn't answer. Tried to call back and it didn't go through.I have called for solicitors to NOT call but they do anyway. WHEN you have a loved one in the hospital, out of town, etc. you are driving in your car and you are concerned, you sometimes answer in a panic and then THEM. Dang.

Received called around 6:15 pm 2/3/12. I said hello a few times but no one responded. Guess it's some scam. Annoying.

I got a strange message from this number. The strange thing was for a second the voice sounded exactly like my boyfriends voice and then it was cut off by a recording. Really weird and kinda creepy.
