Great idea until the FCC determines these calls are being forwarded to them from you.

This caller claimed he was from a Home Security Alarm Company and asked if I wanted to be a test home for their Security Systems. I told him I already had a security system. He asked if I was on contract and would I consider going with them. I said no and to put me on their do not call list. I hung up.

these calls were initiated after going to a website to get "free" views of past & current copies of "Walking Dead" comics. Of course, they wanted you to do a survey first - - - started innocent enough but half way thru, I thought this is BS & quit. Obviously, some of the info was gleamed as I've been getting calls ever since with the same results as others have shared. TG most of my info was false & the phone # is NEVER used so when it rings it's an obvious scammer.

How do I get my # off their list?

Got the call a bit ago, terrible connection. Thick accent is about all I could make out.SCAM ARTIST!

WE do not want to accept calls from this number. We are a business and do not have time for telemarketing calls

Received a call from this number on Monday, January 30th, 2012. Caller identified himself as "Tom from Home Protection." I've previously received calls from this same telemarketer via 3 phone numbers: 720-708-1000 (Colorado), 425-390-8156 (Renton, WA), and 503-457-1270 (Tillamook, OR).Caller typically asks if I would like a free home security system in exchange for displaying a small sign in my front yard. Telling him I don't own a home doesn't end the conversation.I am on the do not call list.

Someone called me from this number on 08/05/13 representing that it was the IRS doing an informational audit on my home business. "Mrs. Cohen" thought I sold religious goods. On 08/26 I discovered that my EIN/FID (part of the info exchanged/verified on 08/05) had been stolen and combined with the SSN of an 83 year old woman to set up three merchant credit card processing accounts for stolen credit cards. All three accounts had me listed as selling religious goods. On 08/05, these characters downloaded my Articles of Organization from the Secretary of State for my signature. The caller did not know I have an 800 number coming into the home and that all long distance calls are routed to that number.

I didn't recogize the number so I did not answer. They didn't leave a message. I have my name on the do not call list for cell phones but it seems I am getting a lot of these calls lately.
