Have received two calls from this number. I never answer the call, but my room mate did... the caller had a thick 'non-American' accent speaking with a very statically background... unintelligible. Why do they hang up when you answer if they are trying to scam you? What a waste of time and effort on all sides... so sick of it!
I got two calls from this number today. Left a message saying that they were with a legal firm and that I needed to call back today. The call was concerning a legal matter. I will not call them back. If someone else has received a call from them stating that they are from a legal firm please let me know. Thanks
90% of the time when they call no one answers. When they do, they say they are calling for a fundraiser that I have asked numerous times to take me off their list.
I am getting two to four calls every single day from 720-708-1000 for the last week. I have no idea who they are. They usually call when I'm at work, and I called them back today. It was some automated message stating that it was "operator 2458" and some other code language. No human. I wish I could make them stop.
Said he was with a police department and then a legal department. Unable to talk to his supervisor.
Calls from area code 841-848-849 throughout the night & day since February 2012. Now this morning it started with 848, 848, then 720-708-1000, then 848, 720-708-1000, 848 = 6 calls within 10 minutes & at this very moment 2 text msgs have come in with oriental language wording. AND I am charged for these texts as I have no 'plan' for texting.......
Just got a call from this number, claimed to be from Microsoft service and our computer was reporting a virus. Wanted us to link into their so they could run a diagnostic. When I started to question about why and all he got annoyed and we became "disconnected". The man I talked to had a strong Indian accent.
They called from this number it was a recording asking for "so and so" and that if I was this person to press 1 and that if I was not "so and so" to press 2 and that if I could get a message to "so and so" then press 3 then they gave me an 800 number to pass on.........who are these people? Does anyone know?

I called Citibank's other number and confirmed this was their Consumer Support number. It is legitimate. Processed the information they needed to verify my account. I originally thought it was fraud but it is real.

We receive calls at our place of business from these people every day and they claim to be with Spectrum. It sounds like a call center in India; noisy background noise and each person who calls has a strong accent.
