Got this call twice before and today 3 times in a row....it was an guy sounding like he was from India. I answered hello a couple times before he was on the line..."yes, I call from technical support, I call you about computer?" I said no and hung up. When I redialed, it was a male voice spouting a number code, and ID something or other. Weird.
When ya register for the so called "do not call list" you are actually registering for the "CALL ME LIST" Hands down. I have registered both my home number and cell number, I have has increased calls on both.
Got a call at MIDNIGHT (woke the entire family up thinking something had happened within our family) from Denver CO 720 708-1000. Our family had a hard time getting back to sleep. They never said anything, just hung up. Need this idiot stopped immediately.
I received a call today form this company. They asked for my husband the owner of our business. I responded this is his secretary, the man responded this is a legal company concerning his financing. I asked which one, he responded tits and [***]. I responded I responded this is his wife my i help you, the man said I don't talk to [***]. If anyone has info on who owns this number I would love to pursue them lehgally myself.
Phone call came in, but no one was there when I answered. Just said "Colorado" on the Caller ID.
I've been getting several calls each day from this number. No one's ever on the line and it appears to be a spoofed caller ID. Spoofing caller ID's is now a federal crime, and the FCC enforces it. Judging from the number of complaints on this website for this number, we need to swamp the FCC with complaints about it. It's really easy to file an online complaint with the FCC by going to their website: fcc.gov/complaints and clicking on the spoofed caller ID button.Filing a complaint with DoNotCall.gov is a good idea, too.
A guy just called me from this number telling me he was recieving error messages from my computer and the error said I had been downloading unauthorized files and that I needed to call another number to straighten this out so I would not get in trouble. My computer is new and is hardly ever used. The guy could not tell me what files were downloaded or when.
Has anyone thought of giving them a taste of their own medicine? Well I knew of this scam cause they called a few times trying to represent different companies. I googled their number just as the rest of you reading my post. I seen how many of you are upset at these calls, so just give them what they want, start sharing information with them; but not your information. I gave them numbers to the Attorney General and FBI office stating this is my cell phone number, I gave them an addresses to the Local Police Department and Federal Court house stating this is our business address. I gave them fax numbers to my local phone company. If you can't fight them then send the fight to somone who can.
