Can you please deactivate this phone number or line, unwanted phone call from this number. thanks
Also got calls from this number on my cell phone. Only family & friends have this number, which I've had for 6-7 years. I don't have a Macy's or Bloomingdale's account. Called back and asked what information they had for my # and it was another woman's name. I was told my # would be removed from their database. Hope that's true....So if you're puzzled about why you would be getting calls, it's a good idea to call. Just don't give them info (they wanted my husband's name since he has a Macy's card) and insist that they look up your info using the phone #.
After doing some internet research I found that MCCS is Macy's Credit and Customer Services. The 727-556-5772 and 727-556-5000 numbers are from The FACS Group in Clearwater, Fl. 13133 34th St. N. 33762. Their main number is 727-556-5000. MCCS is at 9111 Duke Boulevard, Mason, Ohio 45040. Their number is 513-398-5221. Michael Gatio is President of MCCS if you would like to contact him in Ohio and tell him what a lousy operation he is running. You can also go to Macy's website and tell them their credit department sucks. If they are going to call someone, at least have the decency to be on the phone when someone answers.
Will not stop calling 2 or 3 times a day. Asking for a strange name. Have requested that they cease calling on multiple occassions but calls continue.
I too was almost a victim. I received a call from the same number and a 'Mrs Bruce' claimed that she needed to speak with me urgently before 9pm my time. Here were the alarms bells:- First of all who introduces themselves as "mrs" anything on a customer service call.- 9pm is way too late to be normal. Good luck getting any kind of customer service past 5pm.- She didn't specify east coast or west coast time. It was clearly just an attempt to get me to call back under the guise of something important.Without calling back I quickly googled "macy's hoax" to run into this site. Seeing that it was the same number and others have also been harassed it quickly confirmed my suspicion.thanks for the warning and let others be warned as well.
Constant calling from 727-556-5772 identified on my Caller ID as MCCS. They call at least 3 to 5 times a day. They don't care what time they call and they call even on the weekends. I do have an account with Macy's and once I answered the phone when I was 2 months in the rears and they tried to convince me to pay my bill through them. I refused!
Started getting calls couple of days ago and when I answer says "All agents are busy. Please wait" or something similar. If it is indeed Macys -- I've never been to a Macy's Store in my life and don't have any credit cards with them. Getting pretty mad now
