You may be just doing your job but one call is plenty. 4 calls in one day, in less than 2 hours, is harassment.
Just got a call from a female at that number. We had large hail and even larger tornadoes the past couple of weeks, so she claimed she was from a government agency. She wanted to know what type of building we have and how big the hail was. I asked her which roofing company she works for! She claimed she doesn't work for a roofing company and stuck by her story that she works for a government agency (but when I asked her which one, she declined to answer) who needs weather data about the recent storms. I told her my hail and my building are none of her business. I suggested she call the National Severe Storms Lab in Norman, Oklahoma for her data. My bet? Roofing company.
I answered the blasted phone, she was mumbling, I said WHAT!, then she asked if she could speak to the youngest male or female in the household because the were taking a survey in the area. I said no, and hung up. it was 7 PM CST.
Caller should t least leave a message - this is my private #, not for anyone but friends and family....
This number called my friend's phone. I think if it was political, or anything official, they would have to be professional at it. So far, it doesn't sound like that's the case here.
I just was notified earlier this week of fraudsters trying to get a person to say yes on a call so they can use the recording to sell you something like a bank loan or credit card. The phone number that came up on my phone identified the call as fraud or scam. Curiosity got the better of me so I answered the call. Woman stated she was doing a political survey and asked if I was a resident of Oregon. I hung up rather than say yes. Beware of this number!!!

just got a call from 888-431-7820. Told me I was breach of contract. Very hard to understand the lady. I dont have a contract with anyone that I know of. When I look to see the number call it tells me Claim Services.
