Weird call

Called me 5+ times yesterday, never left a message. I have blocked the number.

That's very true, Tygerkat. I'm an interview at one of the centers. I can't disclose the location because of protection due to we get a lot of death threats when we call people to do a political survey. Also, if you simply tell us, "We're not interested" it kicks that number out of our computer registry so we won't call the number again... but sometimes it does for some odd reason. If people would simply tell us their not interested we wouldn't bother them. We don't know who we're calling... once the phone beeps we don't know who we're speaking to we just have to read verbatim what's on our screen. If we don't read everything on our screen we get wrote up and/or fired for violating the trust of the client who hired us to conduct the survey. I understand people are weary with scams going around... but if you're hesitant call our HQ with the number provided on our website between 8:30am and 5pm eastern time. We (as interviewers) really could care less what someone's opinion is, we're just working for a paycheck working 20 hours a week trying to pay bills. Our economy is horrible!)

Just got a call wanting to do a political survey in ILL. I kindly informed the woman that the 608 area code is in WI, to which she informed me that I was mistaken. Now that's funny stuff, since she didn't seem to know her [***] from 3rd base. I let her know that 618 is southern ILL, and 608 is southern WI - and she thanked me and hung up.I'm going to ask if they've found Jesus next time they call...

calls too late at night and ignores any do not call requests

Well, nobody has sued us yet and we've been open since 1994. Also, if we're calling the California state and you have a California cell number but live in NY... you're going to get call at 12:30am. Our system pulls all the landline and cell phone #s registered in the state in the areas that we're calling.

I received a call from this number 3 times, in the late evening, between 7-9pm. I answered, no reply, then a series of beeps. The 2nd call 5 days later, caught me off guard and I answered. I could hear people talking muffled on the other end. I disconnected. The last call I received today. I didn't answer, they didn't leave a message, just hung up on my voicemail.

Called in the morning. Caller ID said "Unknown Caller". Left no message. See Project Freedom USA (dot org) and ask for me by name.

Keep getting calls from this no. Will not answer. On do not call list.
