I'm getting numerous calls - about 2 per day from this number to my cell phone!I call the number back & get some odd message - so I hang up.
I saw your post after I posted about my annoying calls. I did as you suggested and called the corporate offices with a bit of outrage in my voice and told them I was tired of these calls and wanted my number removed. She took my number and hopefully follows thru.
Political survey. I answered all questions, lots! Took 20 min. I want my opinion to count.
It is a great Idea, but we don't want to be like them and wreck other businesses by falsely requesting unwanted material. A real business like the one I work for spends a lot of money on print marketing and we only send it to people who call and request it. We actually request their home number and trace their information before we ship because it is so expensive....The Government is only worried about their own pay checks and how they can rip off the American People. If that wasn't the case there wouldn't be Pork Belly Spending, or "wasteful spending to ensure their department gets a larger budget the next year"Government & Government Employees should be held accountable for waste! Just like any other business, except all those companies bailed out by the government.....Write your Congressman and Senators demanding accountability.
This number keeps calling my girlfriend, I'm gonna forward all calls to the FBI and see if they stop then :)
It's from a Republican Party based polling center. They're trying to persuade you to vote for the Trumpster and the other Repukelicans.
They called on my cell phone to use MY minutes for this crap. I am on the do not call registry.
These a'holes called my cell phone today at 1730 hours. Caller ID showed "Virginia Beach, VA." Survey or not, according to what I've read, they can NOT call cell phones without prior permission using any auto-dialing or predictive dialing equipment, which they are most certainly doing. I certainly didn't give anyone permission to call my cell phone for surveys. For the heck of it, I blocked my caller info on a landline and called the number back. I got a recording informing me that I had reached "Issues and Answers", that they were conducting surveys and not trying to sell anyone anything, and if I had any concerns, I could call their Public Relations Liaison at 800-234-7783 but - get this! - they're office hours are 8 to 5:30 Eastern. So they called me right as they closed, probably to avoid having to answer the phone calls of irate people. The message offered to let me leave a general message if I pressed 1585. I pressed it. I was disconnected. Big surprise. Looks like they're also on Facebook so let's all blast them with irate message.
My message is simple but plan is difficult to implement. Are web page-capable-folks reading? My idea is to obtain the home telephone numbers of these web footed, greedy company owners and publish them. With name of company gathered, a search through the state's business license site will earn someone the owner's names(s). It shouldn't be so difficult to obtain telephone numbers and home addresses. Do you think this is extreme? If so, consider this; all of us deserve our privacy and the enjoyment of our homes. The lowly type operating this sort of business should experience FIRSTHAND what repeated telephone calls feel like. They're looking at making money; period! The feds exempted them from the donotcall restrictions...guess why........ lobbying! They got dirty and rude, aided and abetted by the feds who enjioy re-election and campaign contributions. In my book they deserve no less than a concerted effort to serve them a plate of *@&^ you very much!!! They looked for a fight. I say, give it to them.
