Portfolio Recovery, junk debt collectors, spoofing someone's phone number

Yepper got a call from these things today @ 12:10 pm Oct.26,13 and just added this number to my littlelog book of unwanted calls for the do not call complaint. They can kiss my A$$ if they think their call willnet anything for them for they might be paying me.

Nice idea, but there is no way I am calling them back long-distance on my cell phone just to get a laugh.I simply ignore the call.

This company should not be calling me. They are saying that I should be paying the monthly payments to them that I am paying to the Credit Card company. I want this company to never call me again as I do not want anything to do with this company.

Called me today asking to speak to an ex boyfriend that I used to share an apartment with. Debt collection agency..I think judging by the name: Portfolio Recovery Associates. How did they get my number??? I asked the man on the call and he said it was in the company database. When I asked how did my number get in the database he asked for contact # for my ex and started to get an attitude. I gave no answer and again I asked how did they get my number and he ended the call immediately. I really hate that I can't order them not to call again. Guess they will have to go on my phone's blacklist.

New number, old debt collector. Appreciate the info on this board as they do not leave a message. Please enjoy Call Control on your phone. Program once and never be bothered again. We can end this nuisance calling if they can't bother us because their robocall gets an immediate hang-up. Robo for the Rest of Us.

Calls and calls from many different numbers, all from Portfolio Recovery. Apparently it just a robo dialer thing. I am not in debt nor do I have any old debts so apparently they are phishing.

How do you know this company is not reviewing this forum?
