Oh but they do look on sites like this. They have trolls that try to find people that they are looking for. And those trolls try to convince those people they want to "help" them. They try to get them to admit to owing the debt and that, folks, re-ages the debt from out of statute to brand new. That then allows them to sue you and garnish your wages or bank account.

They buy that information from all cell companies.

Portfolio Recovery debt collection. Odds are, they're looking for money from someone that used to have your phone number, or they bought a debt from someone you owed.If it's the second one, DO NOT ever admit, under any circumstances, that you owe them money. You don't, because you never signed a contract with them. If it goes to court, an attorney making that argument will hold up.If it's the first one.....save as a contact and set ringtone to silent.

They wouldn't stop calling me...so I Hired an attorney today. Im sueing them, I have numerous calls recorded from them...and they are dead in the water. Instead of trying to collect from me....Ill now be collecting from them.

Stop calling my private no.

This number just called my work number again. The first time I asked them not to call the number again as this was a work number. They just called and hung up. I will report them should they call again as I specifically asked them to cease and desist from calling the work number. Asked them to mail correspondence for verification.
