I just recieved a call from 760-705-8888. They informed me that my computer that was not on was trying to upload my persona information to a server somewhere. I asked them what they were talking about because my computer was off. They again informed me that my computer was trying to upload my info to server somewhere and it was infact jamming their server. The woman had an Indian accent and she assured me that she could show me how to fix the problem if I would go to my copmuter. I told her this was impossible that my computer was doing this and that I am protected by Norton Anti-virus, she instantly hung up.

someone has been calling me from this number as well for over three months now, and doesn't say a word, just breathes deeply . What a pervert. Maybe we should complain to google?

I got 10 calls in a row after hanging up or ignoring all 10 then I answered the 11th. one from 760-705-8888. I heard nothing but what sounded like a person pushing numbers on their phone so I stayed silent and heard around 25 touch tones before hanging up. It is obvious we are all just wasting our breath here with over 109 pages from people reporting the same issue. You would think the CRTC or GOOGLE or whoever is in control of this [***] would read this and track down the person behind the calls and slap them with a lovely fine but no...no one does nothing and we keep getting spammed or worse, talked into a scam that should be illegal in Canada if someone actually enforced it!!!!

Just got a call from this number and he said Grandma. I said hi..who is this? He said it was my my Grandson. I said ,"who." .He said, " Guess..." I said "I don't know, my grandson is only 12 years old." He said "Oh, is this Betty?" I said No, but I hope you find your Grandma." After I hung up I told my husband I had a really funny feeling about this call and I hope it wasn't one of those calls saying they needed money. After reading these other comments, I can't help but feel I was called by one of those scam people.As a senior citizen, I can only pray for others in my age group they don't fall into this scam and loose moneyto these awful people.

Help me find out where they are calling from

The is a scam. The English man said he was from the QC Security Team (Joshua with a badge |#????) which monitor all Internet activities in the Province of Qc, He called saying my Internet was under investigation for the last 45 days because it was transmitting personal data. Also, he mentioned the BBC and another media have made news on this topic. He said that he was surprised about the fact I was not aware of this. The discussion started at 8h36am and last 7min45sec.After I mentioned I was working for the Government, he hand-up.

This person called me and i have no idea who it was..

I keep getting this call. Like 8 times last night. But no one is every on the other end. I tried calling it back and it says. "Sorry can't complete your call" or something along those lines. Why do they keep calling? Its quite aggravating ... /:
