I live in Phoenix, AZ and I just got a call from the same phone number. When I called the number back, the recording says it has been disconnected.
just got a call from this number. I asked what company it was. They said financial services. I said, "What company?" They hung up.
This number comes on the caller ID as coming from Sebastian, FL. The representatives calls and claims to be from "Consumer Card Services." If you ask any other questions they hang up on you. They spoof the caller ID with disconnected numbers always from Florida. These calls CAN be tracked no matter what YOUR caller ID displays. You must call and complain before the phone company will do anything. Every call does make a difference.
Sometimes calls like this are scouting to find when people answer the phone, to determine the time of day that is best for a human to call back and sell you something. I appreciate everyone who has responded to share their experience with call like this. Keep up the good work.
