You can report abuse at www.donotcall.gov.I went to the site, the same one to be added to the do not call list.During the process I found out my number was not on the do not call list.This would be a good place to look, either to report the number or verify your number is registered.

AT&T doesn't care. They just say they'll waive the charges but ask you to contact ILD Teleservices (800-433-4518) so that you can cancel future charges. ILD Teleservices will look up the merchant they're billing for and then ask you to call the merchant to stop future calls (for me it was Universal Voice Services 866-473-1980). IDL will swear up and down that they don't know about it but they're VERY much involved in the scam. They've been doing this crap since 2001! They've changed their names several times but no one has ever gotten them to stop...well guess what? The SHERIFF's in town and they're going to lose...SUCKERS!

I got an automated call from this number and waited for a live agent in order to get more info. When the agent came on he asked if I wanted to lower the interest rate on my credit cards. I asked him what his name & company name were and was told "Randy" with "Card Service". I then asked him what our business relationship was. He seemed confused by that question. So I explained that since I'm on the Federal Do-Not-Call list it would be illegal for him to call me if we didn't already have a business relationship.He then said, "Don't give me that federal bull___. You're the one who answered the damn call."I then hung up and will file a complaint with the FTC.

Actually, pressing "1" will give them authorization to bill you for voice mail charges, web hosting charges, all kinds of charges. They've got one of your bills (more than likely a phone bill) without you even knowing about it. When you see the number, HANG UP...better yet, don't answer. Let it ring, ring, ring.

April 24, 2008 8:36 PMJust received a call from 772-664-4005. Automated voice saying my warranty expired. Then it sounded like a "frying" sound. I wanted the pleasure of hanging up on them, but no one ever came on the line. Says the call is from an "Unknown Name" but with the above number. I am so tired of getting these kinds of calls. I place all of them in the "Do Not Call" numbers put it doesn't seem to matter. Just don't answer anymore. It's better that way, but they are nuisances and the phone company has an obligation to do something about these calls. We pay enough for the phone bills.

That's exactly how you get off their list...by not answering the phone. You're just giving them more fuel when you participate in their idiocrisy. Sure, it's fun for a short while but the price you pay being bother by their constant ringing isn't worth it!

They call me but all i do is look at my caller ID and just put my phone down and thats it we dont have pick it up now because of caller ID I LOVE CALLER ID ;> KEEP ON CALLING LOSERS
