The GOP Said that they are going to lose their jobs if i dont donate alot of money to them.
I get these calls several times a day from different numbers, always wanting to lower my interest rates. I answer the caller by saying "How are you lieing scamming Corksuckers (sp?)doing today boy? If they respond I keep talking over them with the above phrase or by telling them they should be recording this conversation so they can play it back to their associates. I tell them I am recording it so I can play it back to my friends and they think it is a hoot. I stay on the line until they hang up. If they quit talking and the line is still open I give them the old "shave and a hair cut" using the # key. They have called me by name (I don't respond except as indicated above). They recognize my voice now and sometime do not talk at all. Lately they are trying to sell extended auto warrantys. I can tell because it is the same "Your call is important to us" exactly.
The genuine holder of this number (US Bank) said they would never call you from this number, and if someone did, it was a phishing scam. The call will also attempt to ask for your credit card and social security numbers. DO NOT BE TRICKED.
Did not answer. No message left. Will block this well known scammer. Cell companies need to protect their customers from these criminals and FTC needs to do something.
I am on natl do not call list since April 2010. This number calls offering to lower interest rates on credit cards. beware. When you call back, you get a recording to tell them your credit card number. Dangerous to do. This call is against the law, IMHO. And it is not isolated. The callmy numbef several times a week. I do not answer, then they leave a message.I had answered in the past and pressed the number to be removed form the list. Ha. Never happened.
The same as everyone. Sucking all the info. Claiming 0% interest rate. When I wanted to stop switching to their system, they told me that it is impossible and that they will close my credit card.

Called three times and left no message. The third time the name that came up on my phone was Authors Club president. I answered and the caller then said they were collecting on a debt, claimed they were recording the call. Scam.
